Peace and Freedom: Making America # 1

We the PaxLibs believe in ultimate simplicity, freedom, and peace. We want to be in as few wars as possible. Not only do we want simplicity, we also want the country to have a fair system. Immigration is very relaxed, and it is easy to immigrate, in fact we believe in open borders. Free choice is very important, and the government stays out of personal decisions. Civil Liberties are very important, including the first amendment, and any personal choices that you may have. We also care greatly about education, and a lot of the tax payers’ money goes into the education system. The tax system is very simple and easy to understand, and is based solely on income. We also believe strongly in free-trade.

Foreign Policy
We do not get into other countries wars, and we don’t start any wars. PaxLibs believe in a great defense army, so if any countries randomly declare war on us, we will be able to fight back. However us PaxLibs believes that war is never the answer, and will only fight back to protect ourselves. We want to be a neutral country, and will not take sides with other countries (such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict). Since we will be saving a ton of money by not having a huge military, the United States will have so much more money for important causes, such as education. War is a pointless issue of the past which needs to stop. It really does not solve anything, and greatly reducing our military would be the first step. The PaxLibs number one goal is quite simple, to bring all the soldiers home to their families: for world peace.

Tax Reform
PaxLibs believes in only one tax, which is based only on income. The percentage which the tax changes every year. This way, if one year the country spends too much money, the tax will be reduced, and vise versa. You have to pay more if you have a higher income, to prevent the poor from getting poorer and the rich from getting richer. Everyone who is over the age of 21 is required to pay taxes, it doesn’t matter if they work or not. If the people only had to pay the taxes if they worked, then less people would work, and a big goal is to increase work. Tax money goes to schools, health care, parks, roads libraries, armed forces, the local police and fire protection, the post office, and public transportation.

Civil Rights Reform
The people in the PaxLib movement believe everyone should have equal rights. This includes any race, religion, gender, sexual preference, etc. Any two humans can get married, it doesn’t matter their sexual preference. Any citizen has free education up to grade 12. We greatly encourage charter schools, much over the average public school and over private schools. Many people find private schools immoral, but want more choice in the education that they get for their child. By having mostly charter schools you would get the best of the best, and even the worst charter schools would be kept excellent. We believe strongly in great education, as children are the future of this country. The choice for a women to have an abortion is completely up to her. Drugs, alcohol, prostitution, and gambling are all legal. If somebody wants to do any of these crimes against oneself, it should be their choice, not the government. If you want to do it you will get away with it wether or not it is legal, and by spending so much less money on trying to put people in jail for doing crimes like this, we could be educating them on why it is bad. The first amendment (freedom of speech and expression) is very strong. Anyone can say or write what they want (subject to harassment). Newspaper articles will be published more openly, and not as closely monitored and edited. The government will have homeless shelters to support the homeless, but they will also strongly encourage them to work.

Election Reform
In order to run for president, you must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of college level education. Other than that, there are no restrictions on who can run, and you can be born from any country. Anyone who is legally working has the right to vote. This will encourage more citizens to work, as they will have a much bigger choice in who runs them, which will defiantly change how they live their life. We will advocate for no political parties, as political parties twist your views to vote for whoever is in your political party. If we had no political parties, people would vote for who would actually make a better leader than who is in your political party. If you have been elected as a part of the government and end up working with them, you are not allowed to re-elect. This will stop the people in government from telling people what they want to hear, and doing more to help the country.

Trade Reform
As mentioned before, there should be no taxes on trade. Also, if you want to bring in something from one country to another, you will not have to pay any tax on that item. You can trade with whatever country you want whenever you want. If we are in a war with a country, it shouldn't effect how and what we trade with them. Free-trade is great and highly encouraged. Us PaxLibs would eliminate any controls on trade. Free-trade allows everyone to focus on what they do best, and over-time will improve the economy. When all countries remove laws regarding trade, prices on material items will lower, benefiting the poor. Also, free-trade will improve our relationships with other countries. Free-trade is very important to us PaxLibs, and we must drop all of the laws on trade immediately.

Immigration
PaxLibs believe in open borders. As people are going to move into the United States anyways, (even if it is done illegally), we might as well make open borders. By spending less time and money on making sure everyone is a legal citizen when many are not, we will have so much more money to use on more important issues, such as education. Eventually, the world will hopefully have open borders, and many countries already do. Many countries look up to the United States, and by having open borders many of these countries will follow.
